Ann Morgan, ‘79, currently holds the position of director at Fennemore, an Am Law 200 business law firm offering comprehensive legal services. Morgan holds a distinguished career, having previously served as the president of the State Bar of Nevada and chairing the Blue-Ribbon Committee on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for the State Bar of Nevada. 

With over four decades of legal experience, Morgan is recognized as one of the pioneering women attorneys in Nevada and specializes in employment and labor law, aviation law, and general business law matters. She provides counsel to private individuals and the Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority in various legal capacities.

Previously, Morgan served as the immediate past chairman of the Legal Affairs Committee for Airports Council International North America (ACINA), a prominent industry group representing airports across the United States, Canada, and Europe. 

Her notable contributions to the legal community include 20 years of service on the state bar’s Board of Bar Examiners, as well as holding several offices within the Washoe County Bar Association. She was elected to the Board of Governors for the State Bar of Nevada in 2012 and served as its President from 2021 to 2022. Currently, she holds the position of Emeritus Board member for the Northern Nevada Women Lawyers Association and chairs the University of Nevada, Reno Foundation. 

Morgan’s professional achievements have been acknowledged by Best Lawyers in America® from 2011 to 2022, encompassing various legal domains such as Administrative/Regulatory Law, Aviation Law, Employment Law – Management, Government Contracts, Labor Law – Management, Litigation – Labor and Employment, and Litigation – Trusts and Estates. Notably, she was honored as Lawyer of the Year in Litigation – Trusts and Estate by Best Lawyers in America® in 2020. 

She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Nevada, Reno, and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law.
